Even after twenty years, the Deo Volente remains in excellent condition. The vessel recently completed a successful drydocking period at BREDO DRY DOCKS in Bremerhaven and is now fully operational again.
Various maintenance and refurbishment work was carried out during the drydocking period. The anchor windlass, generators, coolers, propeller shaft and propeller were overhauled. In addition, the cargo hold floor was recoated.
The exterior of the Deo Volente also underwent a thorough refurbishment. Both the entire vessel and its cranes were repainted, preparing the Deo Volente for the years ahead.
