Our vessels are designed to transport wind turbine components from manufacturing sites to offshore wind farms. The vessels are equipped with cranes, roro and other specialized equipment that allow us to load and unload the heavy components safely and efficiently. As Hartman Seatrade we are specialized in the transport of heavy and oversized cargo, including wind turbines and other components for the offshore wind energy industry.
Our multi purpose vessels transport wind turbine blades, turbine towers, nacelles, drivetrains and trafo’s. If the components, like hubs, are transported with trucks our roro vessels are able to transport them via the roll-on roll-of system as opposed to being lifted onboard using cranes.
In addition to transporting wind turbine components, we also offer a range of other services to the offshore wind energy industry. This includes vessel management, engineering, and logistics support. We have experience working on a variety of offshore wind energy projects in locations around the world, including Europe, Asia, and North America.
Our ships are also ideally suited for transporting wind turbines that will be reused at a new location, this also fits completely with our sustainability program.
Overall, we play an important role in the offshore wind energy industry by providing safe and reliable transport services for the heavy and oversized components that are essential for building and maintaining on and offshore wind farms.
