An important milestone for the Southern Rock: the vessel recently completed its first drydocking since entering service.
During the drydocking period, various maintenance and improvement works were carried out to keep the vessel in excellent condition. A new antifouling coating was applied, and the hull was repainted both above and below the waterline.
In addition, the box coolers were cleaned, flow meters were installed on the generators, and the bearings of the steering gear pump were replaced.
Following the successful completion of its first drydocking, the Southern Rock is ready to continue its operations. The images provide an impression of the work carried out.
